My Watch Shop is a highly-rated, successful eBay seller who wanted an e-commerce site of his own. Being a small business with a limited budget and no previous experience of shopping carts and content management systems, what he needed was an easy-to-use site which would enable him to manage a wide range of products easily, process and track orders and take payments over the internet.

Dreamscape Solutions provided a bespoke e-commerce website which is fully content managed. The site is designed to encourage visitors to make a purchase. We wanted to make sure visitors understood that their purchases were secure and that deliveries would be fully guaranteed and insured and we knew that when buying over the internet, potential customers would want to know as much about the watches as possible and to see large, clear photographs of each watch so they knew exactly what they were going to receive.

Two months after the site launched, we began actively working on traditional search engine optimisation for My Watch Shop. Within three months, traffic from search engines to My Watch Shop increased by 130% and the conversion rate doubled. This includes an increase in non-paid traffic from Google of 139.56% and an increase in non-paid traffic from Yahoo of 42.31%.
